Qualified Baby and Newborn Photographer
Qualified Baby and Newborn Photographer – just before I went to South Africa four months ago (yes I am that far behind in blog posts), I submitted an application to the Guild of Photographers for my qualification. The award was a welcome surprise during a fantastic weekend in South Africa. A weekend spent amongst friends and great company. However, all things come to an end and I have decided to move on from that weekend.
As of next month, my 3 year membership with the Guild of Photographers will come to an end. I have decided to move onto ‘greener pastures’ and find something that is more fitting of my style and direction at this point. The Guild of Photographers is a great bunch of friendly photographers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, but they are no longer the right fit for me.
I’ve had the honour of befriending many people with the Guild of Photographers and that is something I am grateful for. They are a super, social bunch of people. Who knows, one day I may go back, but for now the forward is in a different direction.
And this decision to leave one organisation and join another is the direction that also my personal life is going in. For those friends and family close to me, they will know what is happening. For the rest of you, I value your business and this will be revealed in the not too distant future. My personal life, however, will in no way affect our business relationship.
Please have a look through the images which got to qualified status. Without you all, it wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for all your support. I look forward to moving forward in the next direction of my business life with all of you. I will be up north the second weekend of October to qualify as a Newborn Photographer and safety approved. One of the very few in Surrey and possibly one of the first in my area.
Here are the images that made this all possible:-
