Why Product Photography?

Product Photography Hampshire, Eversley - Leanne du Plessis Photography

When you search for a product, how many results appear? Pages upon pages of competing brands. In a crowded market, exceptional imagery is the key to standing out.

A high-quality, thoughtfully styled product image does more than capture attention—it builds trust, enhances brand perception, and ultimately drives sales.

Whether for e-commerce, social media, or marketing campaigns, your visuals should align with your brand identity, elevating your product beyond the ordinary.

How it works

Step 1

Once you enquire, Leanne will send you an overview of the different product photography packages available, each designed to highlight specific types of products.

We’ll schedule a pre-shoot consultation to discuss your vision, your brand aesthetic, and where the images will be used. If you’re unsure of what you need but know you want your products to stand out, Leanne will guide you in selecting the perfect package.

At this stage, we will also confirm a suitable date for your photoshoot.

Step 2

You’ve confirmed your package and date for the photo shoot.

Now it is time for Leanne to send you a questionnaire about what your product is, what your brand values are, what your brand colours are and many other product related questions. This will give Leanne ideas on the style of photography that will work for your product and compliment your brand.

During this time, you will also receive a contract and invoice for the deposit (25% of your package total).

Leanne will also research different ways to photograph your products, backdrops and locations that suit your brand.

Step 3

Leanne and yourself will have a Zoom call to discuss ideas that Leanne has come up with and suitable locations. Final details on what you should bring to the photo shoot (e.g. products, branding materials) will be discussed, times confirmed and a plan of action in place.

Step 4

The photo shoot day. Leanne will be a few minutes before the photo shoot start time to get organised – backdrops set up, lighting and products arranged. Leanne will have the order of products to be photographed written down so that everyone knows what is happening on the day.

Step 5

Post-production time. The post production will take about 1 week from photo shoot to online delivery. All images will be sent via wetransfer.com in high resolution and resized for social media.

If you want your product to stand out, it needs to be a quality image.
