Maternity Photographer Windsor, Berkshire
“No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you, after all you’re the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside” – unknown
What started out as a chilly Spring morning turned out to be a beautiful day. I arrived slightly late, due to my over reliance on Google Maps and having no sense of direction. When Google doesn’t pick up new builds, my entire world ends and I end up doing several million searches and going into Street view to see where I actually should be going. But nevertheless, I offered Charitha and Suresh extra time on their Maternity Portrait Session and everyone was happy. Charitha looked absolutely stunning and the location amazing, so I was more than happy to have extra shooting time.
We started off at a park that was about to start blooming for spring. Windsor is beautiful and having swans in the photographs was an absolute bonus. Just seems to add to the romantic feel of this Maternity Session. With Windsor Castle and the mile long walk so near by, we decided to get a few photographs with these in the background. This was a place that was special to this lovely couple and so it made their photographs even more sentimental. I love being able to create a photograph that was sentimental value to my client. I want them to fall in love with their photographs and cherish them forever.
This session was also the first time I’d seen Windsor Castle up close, rather than in the distance. It’s so beautiful and just what I image a castle to look like. I could picture knights and dragons come storming out the towers. The castle is also surrounded by lots of boutique and arty type stores, which just adds to the vibe. Its a very creative and inspiring place – well in my opinion. After seeing Buckingham Palace, I was glad to see that Windsor Castle was a ‘real’ castle. Buckingham Palace has lots of history, beautiful statues and St. James Park which adds so much value to it, but I wasn’t as impressed with the Palace design itself.
Nevertheless, we had a lovely session and Charitha was very happy that I made her feel comfortable and guided their poses throughout the session. They even booked me for their newborn session once baby arrived.
Here are a few of the images from this beautiful Windsor Maternity Photo Shoot.
