A brief bit of history about my start in Photography. I am a South African and began taking an interest in photography as a teenager. South Africa has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world (yes I might be a bit biased) and photographing sunsets was my first love. Although, I don’t take photos of sunsets and landscapes as a speciality, I still love to capture them.
My two boys love the beach, so we decided to take a small break to Cornwall in April. We spent a week there exploring the beaches around St. Ives and loving the relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, the sunsets were breathtaking and I couldn’t help but spend hours capturing them each day. My oldest son came with me one evening and decided to do a bit of photography himself. Not too bad for an 8 year old. I was really pleased with the images that I’d captured during out stay in Cornwall.
The days flew by really fast and as they say all good things come to an end, so we had to head home. Although, it was a long drive home, it was definitely a holiday that we will all remember. And we will definitely be back!!
Here are a few images of the sunsets and my boys loving the outdoors and beach life 🙂
