Logan was an absolute star and rocked his Newborn Photo Session. Being a growing boy, Logan needed a lot of food breaks. I always go at your child’s pace, so if your child needs lots of breaks, then we take them. I want your child to be happy and comfortable. Logan was such a chilled baby and once he’d had his food, we was perfectly content to be posed.
The general rule of thumb in the Newborn Photography world is doing Newborn Photo Shoots when your baby is under 2 weeks old. While this would be in an ideal world, it doesn’t always happen this way. I am more than happy to do Newborn Shoots up to 12 weeks. Your baby might not be as sleepy and want to see what is happening around them. They may wake when they are posed. However, we will get those adorable, early days images.
Customised Newborn Photo Shoots
Logan’s parents are Marvel Comic Hero fans. Therefore, being a customised Photo Shoot, I created images that would be memorable to them. One pose was a Superman cape and mask which my office helped me make. We also had an image of Logan wearing a Superman vest and a button up shirt. For this image, I posed Logan in such a way that it looked as if he was ripping his shirt off – Superman style. Getting ready to save the world. Of course, the famous Clark Kent glasses were featured in the image too 🙂
Also incorporated in the Newborn Photo Shoot was Dad’s tattoo. Logan’s Dad is a personal trainer, so we had an image of Logan lying on his Dad’s back while do a press up (composite and spotting by mum). Mum really wanted a specific image so we made sure that it was the first shot we got.
What a gorgeous family! Logan’s Aunt got a Newborn Photo Shoot Gift Voucher as a gift including the session fee and all images on USB. Aunt is happy, parents are happy and my social media reach from these images has certainly made me happy.
