Recommendations for Settling Baby – Can I just say that I love babies and capturing my clients as their families grow. It’s so amazing seeing their families grow from 2 to 3 to 4. The fact that they choose to have me photograph all these precuous moments in their life is even more special. Ryley’s Newborn Session was the second one I’d done for their family. I got to meet the family when doing older brother Chace’s newborn shoot. This family has not only invited me back for various shoots, but have recommended me to their friends and family. Ryley is a really chilled baby, but wasn’t too keen on being posed. He would be lights out and as soon as I moved him gently into position he would fuss. Dad, Jade, was a fantastic help and would be a perfect assistant.
I brought out the white noise Baby Shusher which is usually the thing that gets babies to settle. However, Ryley preferred Ewan the sheep. A few of my clients have used Ewan the sheep and it’s definitely something I’ve received good recommendations about. I’ve had another newborn shoot where baby would only settle when we had the hoover on 🙂
What worked for your child when they wouldn’t settle and sleep?
My oldest Jayden used to settle if we went in the car. Jenson settled with the baby Shusher and sometimes will still ask for it. Even at 4 years old.
