Wimbledon Newborn Photographer – #
Wimbledon seems to be a place where all newly immigrated South Africans (and other Southern Hemisphere countries) all congregate when they first arrive in the UK. I was no different. We stayed in and around Wimbledon for almost 6 years of being in the UK. It’s beautiful, and so good to hear familiar voices in a foreign country. However, moving out of London, is more the kind of residential area our family was used to, so it made sense for us to move to Surrey. Kenya’s Mum is South African, and once again it was lovely to hear another Saffa voice in Wimbledon.

The Marques family are absolutely beautiful. Although Kenya was only 6 days old, you could already see the connection between her and big sister, Olivia. Some of the images of the girls together are breathtaking. When doing sibling shots, I want the client to be able to see personalities and connections shining through. These girls did not disappoint. Two year old, Olivia, was a at natural posing. Kenya was so chilled, except when she needed to feed. But than again, who is chilled when they are hungry?!
Kenya was such a beautiful newborn, with the most perfect skin. I am so blessed to do a job that I love. I have loads of patience, so don’t ever think that your baby crying or needing to be fed constantly is bothering me. All my clients will vouch and comment on the amount of patience I have. I love babies so having a cuddle while I soothe the baby, is more than ok 🙂 We got some beautiful images with Kenya and even an award-winning image of Mum and baby.
