One week, baby will have plenty room in their first outfit and the next, you can’t even squeeze one last wear out of it. As your photographer, I can help capture these ever changing, tiny little details for you to cherish forever.

Hi, my name is Leanne and I’m a qualified and safety certified newborn photographer.

With a studio in Eversley, Hampshire , I’m just a stone’s throw from Surrey and Berkshire, and easy access off the motorway. A warm and welcoming rustic, barn conversion studio to make you feel right at home.

When should you book a Newborn Photo Shoot?

The best time for a newborn photo shoot is within the first 2 weeks of baby being born.  During this time baby is still very sleepy and curled up, helping us get those cute newborn poses.

Because this is such a short window time and I want to make sure I have availability once your baby arrives, I recommend booking your newborn photo shoo once you’ve had your 20 week scan.  This also gives us the chance to discuss any specific styling and incorporating heirlooms and teddies into your bespoke newborn photo shoot.

How does a Newborn Photo Shoot work?

All newborn photo shoots are held in my Eversley, Hampshire studio, where I have a wide variety of newborn outfits, props and backdrops in different colours and styles.

Prior to your photo shoot we’ll have a consultation to discuss styling, colours and poses, to ensure that you are going to love your photos even more.

Newborn photo shoots can take up to 3 hours, because your baby is the boss!  All my sessions are baby-led.  Your baby’s safety and wellbeing are my main priority, so we go at whatever pace you and your baby need.

Your newborn photo shoot includes family photos and sibling photos.  It’s a special time for the whole family and you’re all invited to join in the photo shoot experience.

To book your newborn session, we will pencil in your due date.  This ensures I have availability around this time.  Once baby arrives, we will schedule a definite date and time.

There is a £75 Session fee which secures your booking, and covers the session, use of props and outfits and your viewing and ordering session, to choose your package and the photos that you love. 

What to Expect after your Newborn Photo Shoot?

After your newborn photo shoot, I will go through your images and lightly edit them – adjust lighting, colour and fix any blemishes.  There will be a gallery of around 30 images for you to choose from.

We will arrange a viewing and ordering session, back at the studio, within 2 weeks of your photo shoot, during which time you see your beautiful gallery of images and choose only the ones you love.

At this time you can choose one of three packages and any extra prints, digital images, wall art and photo albums. Packages don’t have to be chosen until you see your photos. All you need to secure your newborn session is to pay the £75 session fee.

We have a selection of beautiful bespoke, hand crafted frames for you to choose from – you’ll be able to see examples on the studio walls.
