What To Expect Before Your Photography Session…

All Photo Sessions are customised with your family’s hobbies, occupations and personalities in mind. To create a customised session, I will work with you to find out a bit about yourselves. This then ensures your session is bespoke and what you are expecting.

If you are unsure on what to wear or need any styling advice, I am available on Whatsapp, so would be happy for you to send me photos of your outfits or ideas. We can then work from there to get you styled and colours complimentary to your Photo Shoot.

Your Photography Session will only be booked once your Session fee has been paid in full.

When Should I Schedule My Photography Session?

You can schedule your photography session anytime you want to, even if it’s a year in advance! For Newborn Photography Sessions, I would advise you to book after your 20-week scan.

How Do You Take Payments?

Payments need to be made on or before the day. This can either be an electronic bank transfer, cash or Paypal.

What To Expect DURING Your Photography Session…

Where We Shoot

All my photo shoots are done on location – either outdoors or at the clients home. I am constantly seeking out earthy backgrounds, urban settings and everything in between for future photo shoots. If you have a place in mind, I’d love to hear about it, as well. During your email or phone consultation, I’ll discuss your photography session location to make sure it’s the perfect fit for your personal style. If the weather is not great, then I will set up a studio in the comfort of your own home.

Props and Extras

Photography Session props can really make a session pop. I have a whole slew of props to choose from, including furniture, accessories, background details and beyond. With that said, I am very open to using your props, too. In fact, I love that idea! Incorporating elements you bring helps personalize the photographs. We can discuss these extras and props at your consultation and in the days leading up to your photography session.

Our Process

Depending on the package you choose, we’ll shoot for one or more hours on location. This includes the time it takes to set up the equipment, change outfits and move from one location to another. I’ll take a lot of photographs over the course of those hours, some which will become forever favourites proudly displayed in your home.

What happens if it rains the day of our shoot?

If it rains on the day of your shoot, we can reschedule for another day. Alternatively, we can move your photography session to an indoor location. If it’s just a little gloomy, we can often still shoot outdoors without a problem. In fact, cloud coverage makes for some gorgeous photographs..

What happens if my child freaks out?

This is a completely normal fear and having 2 kids of my own, I know how unpredictable kids can be and sometimes a temper tantrum is inevitable. When this happens, we will simply take a little break, allow you to calm your child down by talking/feeding/playing and then take the appropriate steps to easing back into the session. I will never force photos or send you on your way.

What To Expect AFTER Your Photography Session…

How Long Until I Recieve My Photos?

The turnaround time to edit your images typically takes two to three weeks. I also post a few sneak peaks on our social media pages to tide you over. I know that waiting can be the worst!

Can I Share The Photos On Social Media?

Of course. It’s fantastic when people share the photographs. I just ask that you don’t crop out the logo and that you link to my webpage or blog when possible.

Do You Do Mini Sessions?

Yes, I host several mini sessions throughout the year and it would be great to have you sign up for one! I typically do holiday mini sessions, which make for great holiday greeting cards. Stay up to date by subscribing or “following” us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Do You Give Discounts for Referrals?

For sure! If you send a client my way and they book a photography session, we’ll provide you with a £25 credit towards your next session.
